Japan's AI National Team Officially Assembles! SoftBank, Sony, Honda Join Forces to Invest Trillions of Yen in Developing Domestic Large Models
Japanese giants SoftBank, Sony, Honda, and NEC have jointly established a company for "Japan AI Basic Model Development", backed by the government and supported by trillions of yen, aiming to build a domestic AI national team to cope with global competition.
